Smart QR Bike Tag

Your bike sits outside for most of the day. The office, the market, the station, a friend's building. Nothing happens on almost all of those days. But on the day something does, the person standing next to your bike has no way to reach you.

The Smart QR Bike Tag solves exactly that. It goes on your bike, and anyone who needs to reach you scans it with their phone camera. There is no app to download and nothing for them to sign up for. The camera recognises the code, a contact page opens, and from there they can send you a WhatsApp message or place a private call.

Your number is never shown. It is stored encrypted with AES-256 and used only to deliver the alert or bridge the call. On a private call our system connects both sides without either person seeing the other's real number, and the connection is not stored once the call ends. The person scanning sees your name, and only if you choose to display it, along with a short form.

WhatsApp alerts arrive in a median of under five seconds. That matters, because a blocked gate or a parking complaint only helps you if it reaches you while you can still do something about it.

The reasons people actually scan:

Your bike is blocking a gate, a car, or a service entrance. Someone clips a mirror while reversing, and wants to tell you rather than drive off. You left the keys in the ignition or a helmet on the seat. There has been an accident and a bystander needs to reach your family quickly. A neighbour notices somebody interfering with the bike and wants to warn you.

This is not a tracker. There is no GPS, no background location and nothing running on your phone to drain a battery. Where your bike is only becomes known if somebody scans the tag and chooses to share where they are standing.

Setting it up takes a couple of minutes. Scan your own tag, verify your mobile number, and the account is created for you. There is nothing to configure afterwards.

If you sell the bike, deactivate the tag with one tap from your dashboard. The QR stops working immediately, and you can re-activate it on something else later.

One tag, one payment, no subscription. The print is weatherproof and UV-resistant, so it survives monsoon and summer sun without fading.
